Raise Bullying Awareness
Boost School Spirit
“Linked Together Against Bullying” is a national movement to bring awareness to the ongoing problems of bullying in our schools. According to the U.S. Department of Education (2010), National Education Association, PACER Center, 1 in 7 students in grades K - 12 are either a bully or have been a victim of bullying. An estimated 160,000 U.S. children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students. One out of every ten students who drop out of school does so because of repeated incidents of bullying. These statistics are very alarming, and together we can build a community that fights against these acts.
Please join us in this movement! Below, you will find a simple t- shirt design with a powerful message, and that message is LINKING TOGETHER for one cause. We all know that kids like to be a part of things that are cool and hype. The anti- bullying design represents one LINK of an entire chain. The more links, the stronger the chain. Students will be excited to be a part of this growing school-wide chain. As the students start to represent links, the stronger the message is conveyed in your school, that bullying is not tolerated. Imagine an entire school “Linked Together” as one. Each year, more and more students and staff will continue to join the movement until your entire school is fully linked, thus creating an environment that makes it hard for bullying activity to exist.
